Whitegrove FC Fund-raising Committee proudly present our second fund-raising race night!
Tickets will go on sale on Sunday 7th February at 10 a.m. on a first come first served basis. There are a limited number of tickets so you must buy them early, we sold out within 10 days for our last event!!
Ticket purchasing process
E-mail Wendy McGee at wendy.mcgee@nielsen.com with your ticket requirements. This can be done individually or via your coach. Wendy will e-mail back confirmation of your ticket allocation.Tickets must then be paid for in cash and menu selections made within 7 days to Wendy at 4 Field Park (just off Holly Spring Lane). Please drop-off between 7 and 8 in the evening or arrange with Wendy a convenient time. After 7 days the tickets will go back on sale.
Race Night
There will be 6 races on the night, each with 8 horses running. The horses in the first five races will be up for sale @ £5 each before the night. The owners of each horse will be printed in the race card before the night. The winning owners will receive a chocolate bottle of champagne and rosette and have their photograph taken in the 'winners enclosure'! The 8 horses in the final race will be up for auction on the night - the sky is the limit!!!!!!!
Betting
25% of all money bet on each race will go to the club, the rest will distritibuted amongst the winners on a tote pool basis.
Food
A fish and chip style meal will be provided, you can choose from the following:
Fish and chips
Jumbo sausage and chips
Chicken and chips
Vegetarian burger and chips
Bar
Red and white wine will be sold by the bottle and glass. Beer will be sold by the can. There will also be nibble trays to purchase on the evening.
Raffle
Raffle tickets will go on sale in February so that those who can't attend can still contribute should they wish to do so. Any prizes would be gratefully received! They will also be available to buy on the night.
Remember - this is a fund-raising evening, but above all it will be great fun!!
